Sergio Conceicao’s men returned to winning ways in Serie A as they thrashed the hosts 4-0 in Friday night’s clash.

However, Milan will be worried about an injury to goalkeeper Maignan, who was taken off on a stretcher after colliding with teammate Alex Jimenez.

The clash of heads occurred when the Frenchman came rushing out of his area in the 54th minute and was unable to slow down his momentum before colliding with Jimenez, who was looking to close down Udinese wing-back Hassane Kamara.

Both players were left on the deck but Maignan came off worse as he appeared to lose consciousness, with both sets of players seemingly left in distress .

He received treatment on the pitch for several minutes before being taken off on a stretcher in worrying scenes.

In the midst of the chaos, Abraham, a devout Chritsian, dropped to his knees and prayed for the shot-stopper’s health from the bench.

Reports in Italy have since claimed Maignan was conscious and talking by the time he left the field.

Jimenez, meanwhile, was allowed to continue playing, but was eventually taken off 18 minutes after the game restarted.

Rafael Leao’s superb strike from 20 yards out was quickly followed by Strahinja Pavlovic’s glancing header from a corner on the stroke of halftime.

Udinese were forced to chase the game in the second half and Milan took advantage of gaps that opened up.

Theo Hernandez added a third in the 74th minute when he started a sweeping move in his own half and finished it off with an unstoppable shot.

Substitute Abraham’s superb cross led to a fourth from Tijjani Reijnders 10 minutes from time.
