Bournemouth are hopeful of receiving a fee in the region of £70million for in-demand winger Antoine Semenyo.
Manchester United are believed to be among the clubs interested in signing the 25-year-old who has enjoyed a breakout year for the Cherries.
However, the Old Trafford club are unlikely to sanction a move at that price, especially if they are not able to secure qualification for the Champions League by winning the Europa League.
Furthermore, the acquisition of Semenyo will rely on the sales of first-team stars, which could include the likes of Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford, who are currently on loan at Chelsea and Aston Villa.
The Ghana international has scored 10 goals and provided six assists in all competitions for the south coast outfit.
Semenyo has impressed in a number of outings for Andoni Iraola’s men and is one of a number of Cherries stars – including the manager – that have attracted interest from across Europe.

According to Sky Sports, Bournemouth could be willing to strike a deal similar to the one that saw Dominic Solanke move to Spurs for £65m last summer, where a lower fix fee with add-ons facilitated a transfer.
The Red Devils are set for a summer of change, with boss Ruben Amorim poised to shape the playing squad into one capable of carrying out his 3-4-3 system. But any investment will be constrained by a failure to qualify for Europe.
On Friday, Man United were again linked to Southampton youngster Tyler Dibling.
The 19-year-old has featured 33 times for the Premier League’s bottom side, whose return to the Championship has already been confirmed, netting four times.
Reports last month indicated that the Saints had slapped a monster £100m price tag on the youngster, however, that valuation is unlikely, especially after Southampton’s relegation.
The Red Devils are also very keen to recruit a striker in the upcoming window. Mail Sport revealed earlier this month that United were ready to trigger Delap’s release clause of around £40million if Ipswich are relegated from the Premier League.
It’s understood that the 22-year-old is their firm favourite ahead of Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and other potential targets such as Victor Gyokeres, of Sporting Lisbon, and Eintracht Frankfurt’s Hugo Ekitike.
