RB Leipzig will reportedly demand around £86m for their star striker Benjamin Sesko this summer.

The 21-year-old forward has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League after impressing in the Bundesliga this season.

But any hopes that clubs may have had of getting him cheaply appear to have been extinguished.

Despite talks of a gentleman’s agreement between Sesko and Leipzig that he will be allowed to leave for around €70m (£60m), German outlet Bild are now reporting that the Bundesliga outfit will be looking for a fee approaching €100m (£86m).

Manchester United are believed to be interested in the Slovenian striker as they bid to fix their attacking woes, and their sporting director Christopher Vivell watched Sesko in action against Wolfsburg last Friday.

However, the Red Devils are far from the only potential suitors for Sesko.

Chelsea and Arsenal have also been linked with making a move for Sesko this summer

Chelsea and Arsenal have been linked with the 6ft 5in frontman, while Liverpool and Tottenham are also understood to be monitoring his situation.

A switch to the Premier League is not guaranteed, with AC Milan also tracking Sesko’s development.

Sesko joined Leipzig from Red Bull Salzburg in 2023. He has scored 37 goals in 82 appearances for the club, reaching double figures in both of his two league campaigns.

He also managed four goals in eight Champions League matches this term, despite Leipzig enduring a miserable European run that saw them exit the competition after the league phase.

Sesko won the German Super Cup last season, and also claimed three successive league titles with Salzburg.

He will turn 22 next month, but has already earned 41 international caps and scored 16 goals for Slovenia.

He played against England at last years Euros, as the Three Lions were held to a 0-0 draw that secured their passage through to the knockout rounds in Germany.
