Mohamed Salah equalled a Premier League record held by Harry Kane and Sergio Aguero after the Liverpool winger enjoyed a historic run of games in February.

The Egyptian King logged 10 goal contributions last month, including six goals and four assists. The month of February saw Salah break all kinds of club and Premier League records.

He moved up to third in Liverpool’s all-time scoring list (243 goals) following a goal against Man City, and drew closer to joining Thierry Henry as the Premier League’s only player to ever register 20+ goals and 20+ assists in a single season, as Salah now sits on 27 and 17 respectively.

Salah won his seventh Premier League Player of the Month award after being crowned the division’s best player in February, equalling Kane and Aguero’s record for the most ever.

It is the second time Salah has taken home the accolade this season, having also done so in November.

The winger beat out five other nominees for the Player of the Month award, including Liverpool team-mate Dominik Szoboszlai.

The other four were Tottenham’s Djed Spence, Brighton’s Yankuba Minteh, Everton’s Beto and Crystal Palace’s Jean-Phillipe Mateta.

Salah also overtook Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard, as well as Cristiano Ronaldo, in the leaderboard for the most Player of the Month awards, with the two greats having won six each.

Salah is nine goals and three assists from enjoying the best single season by a player in Premier League history.

Liverpool bringing their 20th top-flight title to Anfield is almost a formality at this point, with Arne Slot’s side leading the division by 15 points with nine games to go.

However, there are still some individual endeavours that Salah may have his eye on.

The Egyptian has scored 27 goals this season so far, nine off Erling Haaland’s record for the most in a Premier League season ever (36).

Meanwhile, three more assists would tie Salah with Henry and Kevin De Bruyne for the most assists in a single season in the re-branded top-flight, with 20.
