Conor Gallagher has appeared singing a popular song by Ed Sheeran in a new project by his side Atletico Madrid, in collaboration with brewery Mahou Cinco Estrellas.
The England star has taken part in the initiative following the appearance of several stars from the Spanish giants, such as Rodrigo Riquelme, as well as Gio Garbelini and Andrea Medina from the women’s team.
While it’s unclear if Gallagher is a fan of Sheeran’s music, the 25-year-old appeared to enjoy being on stage with fellow artists, singing the ‘Shape of You’.
The content series was initiated by Atletico, who were keen to bring new musical talents onto the stages, while the performance of their players would encourage others to sign up.
Aspiring musicians can submit a video through the club’s website to demonstrate their abilities.
Both Atlético and Mahou will select the winners and invite them to record a track in their studios.

The 27-year-old player has performed on stage with the famous Ed Sheeran’s song ‘Shape of You’
They will ultimately perform at one of the venues at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano.
The former Chelsea star has had six months to adapt to his new life, but he still chose to sing an English song despite his previous attempts to speak a new language during his Atletico presentation in August.
Gallagher joined the Spanish giants in the summer of 2024 for a fee of £34million over a five-year deal.
Although he faced a challenging start to the season, he has become a key player for Diego Simeone in the current campaign.
With captain Koke often injured, Gallagher stepped in to take his place, as the entire team adjusted to a new style of play under the Argentinian manager.
Simeone’s team is employing an unusual attacking tactic and currently sits third in La Liga, just one point behind league leaders Barcelona.
So far, Gallagher has made 30 appearances, scored two goals, and provided three assists across all competitions.
