Real Madrid supporters who allegedly racially abused Barcelona stars, including Lamine Yamal, will reportedly receive increased fines from authorities.
The Royal Spanish Football Federation’s (RFEF) anti-violence committee has proposed sanctions on four Real Madrid supporters accused of making racist insults and gestures.
The alleged offences took place during El Clasico in October, as Barcelona earned a stunning 4-0 victory over Real Madrid.
Two fans are facing fines of €4,000 and a 12-month stadium ban after being accused of making racist insults and gestures to Barcelona players during the match.
Reports in Spain state two further two supporters are facing an increased fine of €5,000 for directing abuse at Yamal.
The increased fine is due to Yamal, at 17, being considered by the committee as being ‘a minor’.

Some of the abuse was said to have taken place when Yamal celebrated his goal at Real Madrid
Two videos were published on social media which showed the teenager being abused
Videos had surfaced on social media following the match of Yamal being targeted as celebrated scoring his goal in the 77th minute.
Spanish police, who had detained the fans involved, have said there was enough evidence showing that they used racist slurs to insult Barcelona players.
Real Madrid had released a statement condemning racial abuse following the match, with the Spanish giants having supported the investigation.
The incident was the latest in a long line of racism cases in Spanish, many of which have involved Real Madrid forward Vinicius Jnr.
Earlier this year, a court handed down six-month prison sentences for each incident after a fan was found to have racially abused Vinicius Jnr and another LaLiga star in two separate incidents.
The fan was also hit with a three-year stadium ban on the supporter.
The Brazilian has also opened up on how he feels ‘targeted’ by discriminatory abuse from rival fans.
Further fines and bans have also been issued in relation to other incidents from El Clasico in October.
