Heidenheim fans could not resist mocking Chelsea and the UK on Thursday night Chelsea triumphed 2-0 in south Germany to continue their 100 per cent recordThis Man City team is DONE and Pep Guardiola has been sleeping on the job – LISTEN NOW to It’s All Kicking Off! Chelsea’s travelling supporters were sent a brutal eight-word message ahead of their Europa Conference League match against FC Heidenheim on Thursday.

Fans of the Bundesliga club vowed to ‘get Brexit done’ in a huge banner behind the goal, and held up what appeared to be an unflattering image of Great Britain’s former Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who played a major role in the UK’s separation from the European Union.

The supporters’ mocking message to the London club read: ‘Let’s get Brexit done. Send Chelsea home tonight.’

Given neither side could be ‘sent home’ and eliminated from the Europa Conference League after the match, the brutal message appeared to imply that Heidenheim would be sending Chelsea home with a defeat ahead of their Premier League clash with Aston Villa at the weekend.

But after heading in level at the break, Chelsea scored twice in the second half through former Bundesliga superstar Christopher Nkunku and Mykhailo Mudryk to triumph 2-0 on the night.

The two clubs had enjoyed positive starts to their respective Europa Conference League campaigns ahead of the clash in south Germany, with both outfits initially three wins from three in the competitions before kick-off.

The Blues leapt to top spot in the group stage table following the 2-0 win, while Heidenheim slipped to sixth, still in an automatic qualification spot.

Trolling the Premier League visitors with more humourous banners during the match, Heidenheim fans also held up another which read, ‘God Save the King,’ in front of a depiction of their manager Frank Schmidt wearing a crown.

Unfortunately for the German fans, it was not the royal result Schmidt’s side were hoping for, with Maresca’s side netting twice and dominating with 67 per cent of possession during the match.

Heidenheim did have chances to score however, managing an impressive 11 shots on target at the 15,000-seater Voith-Arena and having two goals ruled out for offside.

The 2-0 victory means that Chelsea have now scored 18 goals from just four Europa Conference League games so far, stamping their authority as one of the favourites to win the competition in the summer.

Unlike Heidenheim, who sit 15th in the Bundesliga, Chelsea’s league form has matched their success in Europe so far, with Enzo Maresca’s side third in the table and just a point behind Manchester City in second.

Liverpool, who triumphed 2-0 over Real Madrid on Wednesday night, lead the way with an eight-point advantage over the champions.
