Leny Yoro is quickly settling into life at Manchester United – despite still being yet to make his competitive debut – and revealed the video game loving team-mate who is helping him get comfortable in new surroundings.
The Frenchman was United’s most expensive signing of the summer transfer window as he joined from Ligue 1 side Lille in a deal worth up to £59m.
Yoro’s arrival encouraged club supporters after United beat Real Madrid to the youngster’s signing before disaster struck with him being injured during pre-season.
A fractured metatarsal sustained in a friendly clash against Arsenal in July required surgery that has delayed Yoro from making his first competitive outing, but was welcomed back by his teammates at Carrington on Wednesday morning.
The 18-year-old is beginning to strike up relationships with his team-mates and explained he is loving being in Manchester after previously never visiting the city before joining United.

Yoro revealed he has been spending his spare time playing video games with United team-mate Kobbie Mainoo (pictured)
Explaining how he has found moving to one of the world’s biggest clubs at such a young age, Yoro told the club’s website: ‘To be honest it’s perfect. I’ve got my home, my car, everything, so I’m good.
‘It’s [Manchester] a little bit bigger than Lille but the weather is the same,’ he added.
The central defender also revealed his hidden passion away from football is playing video games, with United and England international Kobbie Mainoo often competing against Yoro online.
Yoro continued: ‘Outside of football I like to play video games a lot, to watch movies at home and maybe go shopping for clothes at times. I play with Kobbie on NBA as I like basketball.
Yoro is set to be available for match selection after the upcoming international break
‘I am close to everyone in the group with a good relationship, I stay most of the time with the young guys like Kobbie, Amad [Diallo], speak a lot with [Andre] Onana as he speaks French, [Alejandro] Garnacho is a good guy.
‘Everyone is good and I am staying close with everyone. [Being with the young guys] is helping a lot,’ he said.
Despite returning to training, It’s understood Yoro is unlikely to be available for selection until after the international break when new manager Ruben Amorim will have started his job as Erik ten Hag’s replacement.
Amorim could look to use the talented rising star in a preferred back-three alongside Lisandro Martinez and Matthijs de Ligt as United attempt to salvage their season after a dismal start to the campaign.
