Two top Premier League clubs ‘could move for PSG striker Randal Kolo Muani for just £33m – with French giants ‘willing to let him leave this January’

Two Premier League heavyweights have been named as potential destinations for Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani.

The striker, 25, signed for PSG from Eintracht Frankfurt for £77million in 2023 but has managed just 11 goals in 50 appearances.

Now the Ligue 1 champions are prepared to offload him in January for between £33m and £42m, according to L’Equipe.

The French outlet claims that Arsenal and Manchester United could be potential destinations but that the identity of the latter’s next manager – at this stage looking likely to be Sporting Lisbon boss Ruben Amorim – will be influential.

Kolo Muani was all the rage in the 2022-23 season when he hit 23 goals and provided 17 assists in all competitions for Frankfurt, earning his move to PSG in summer last year.

He had been linked with a possible £105m move to United instead and admitted that playing in the Premier League was a ‘childhood dream’.

In the 2022 World Cup final he had the chance to win the tournament for France but was denied by Argentina goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez’s ‘save of the century’.

France have been able to get more out of Kolo Muani that PSG, with the forward scoring six goals in 12 international outings this year.

In the most recent international break he struck twice against rivals Belgium in the Nations League.

However, he has managed just two starts all season for PSG and even winger Ousmane Dembele was chosen over him as the number nine for the 3-0 win at Marseille on Sunday.

PSG have reportedly spoken with his delegation and are willing to let him start afresh elsewhere in the new year.
