Lamine Yamal has revealed he’s had his braces customised in time for Barcelona’s El Clasico clash with Real Madrid.
El Clasico is arguably the most famous football match in the world, with two of the greatest teams throughout the game’s history in Barca and Real facing off for the unofficial crown of Spain.
Over the years the two bitter rivals have met a whopping 257 times in competitive matches, with Real Madrid narrowly leading the head-to-head with 105 wins to Barcelona’s 100.
This weekend’s clash sees the traditional top two butt heads once more at the Santiago Bernabeu, with the league leaders Barcelona looking to inflict a massive win to confirm their status at the top of LaLiga.
And to get into the spirit for the game, Barca’s Spanish wonderkid Yamal has shown off his brand new braces, featuring the blue and dark red colours of his club.

Yamal has already had a dramatic impact on Hansi Flick’s Barcelona side, who top LaLiga
Jewellery brand Twojeys posted a clip of the winger showing off his new eye-catching teeth, which are now adorned with the company’s two-star logo.
The youngster has been one of the most exciting players to watch over the last 12 months, and was catapulted to superstardom over the summer with his stunning performances for Spain at the European Championship.
Still only 17, the forward leads LaLiga for assists – six – while his team-mate Robert Lewandowski has blown the competition apart with his 12 goals in 10 games, with Hansi Flick’s side powering ahead at the top.
The Blaugrana have suffered just one defeat so far, and won their other nine games, while Real have also lost only once.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side are only three points behind Barca with even wins and three draws, though the Catalan titans’ goal difference of 23 means Real would have to win and secure an 11-goal swing in order to take top spot.
Yamal will also be the front-runner for the upcoming Kopa Trophy award, which is set to be handed out on Tuesday.
The Kopa Trophy is handed to the most impressive young player over the last year, with previous winners including Jude Bellingham, Pedri and Gavi.
Yamal has been in prodigious form this term, and was part of the Barca side that tore through Bayern Munich in a rampant 4-1 Champions League win this week.

Yamal has become arguably the most impressive young player currently operating in the top five European leagues
Vincent Kompany praised Yamal and the club for placing their trust in him, saying: ‘It’s exceptional for Barca as a club [to have Yamal] so shortly after the departure of a player like Messi.
‘For my generation, Messi was one of the key figures of our era. To shortly after this player leaving already have potentially a player who can replace him is quite unique.
Kompany added Barcelona’s academy system, La Masia, can take much of the credit as it has developed Lamal as a youngster much in the same way it did Messi.
‘Full credit to La Masia for always trusting these players and giving them the chance.’
