Chelsea fans have been left outraged after the club’s stream for their Europa Conference League clash against Servette crashed – forcing the Blues to show the match for free.

Enzo Maresca’s side held a 2-0 advantage in the European play-off encounter heading into second-leg tie against the Swiss side, with some Blues fans even making the trip for the clash.

However, those that didn’t travel to Switzerland were left with the option of needing to watch the game on the club’s stream that prior to the game kicking off came with a cost of £4.99.

With the match not being picked for major televised coverage, fans of the club tuned into Chelsea’s official stream, but were quickly greeted with an error message when trying to load the page.

A message prompting ‘stream temporarily unavailable’ was shown while others weren’t even able to view the page as Chelsea were struck by a disastrous technical error.
