Casemiro is determined to fight for his place at Manchester United and will reject any offers to sign for Galatasaray before the transfer window closes in Turkey next week.
The Istanbul club are weighing up a move for the Brazil midfielder who was substituted at half-time in United’s defeat to Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday after his mistakes led to two goals by Luis Diaz.
It was the latest setback for Casemiro whose form has dipped since an outstanding first season at United following his £70million move from Real Madrid in 2022.
The 32-year-old has been left out of Brazil’s squad for the forthcoming World Cup qualifiers against Ecuador and Paraguay.
His place at United is under threat from Manuel Ugarte after the Uruguayan arrived in a £50.5millon deal from Paris Saint-Germain last week, but it’s understood that Casemiro has no interest in leaving Old Trafford at the moment.

He is the club’s top earner on £375,000-a-week and it’s unlikely Galatasaray, who have until a week on Friday to make a move before the Turkish deadline, could afford his wages.
United are expecting Casemiro back in training after the international break to prepare for their next game against Southampton.
The club have been open to offers for the five-time Champions League winner, and former football director John Murtough travelled to Saudi Arabia in December to gauge the level of interest.
However, there were no bids before the Saudi Pro League window closed on Monday night.
