West Ham have confirmed the signing of Leeds winger Crysencio Summerville on a five-year contract.
Talks have been ongoing over a deal for the attacking talent who has two years remaining on his existing contract at Elland Road after joining in a bargain £1.3m transfer four years ago.
It was previously suggested that the Hammers were looking at pulling out of talks as they believed the price, believed to be in the region of £35m – £40m, was too expensive.
However, the two clubs have now got a deal over the line.
Summerville has been keen to return to the Premier League as Leeds missed out on promotion after being beaten by Southampton in last season’s play-off final.

The 22-year-old is set to fly out to the United States to join the Hammers on their tour
The 22-year-old has agreed personal terms and signed a five-year contract with West Ham as they attempt to commit the player to a long-term stint in London.
The Hammers are currently away on pre-season duty in the United States, with Summerville set to fly out to join his new team-mates.
Summerville, who has been capped by the Netherlands at Under-21 level, was one of the Championships top performers last season, but missed out on being picked for his nation’s Euro 2024 squad.
He has made 89 appearances and scored 25 goals for Leeds, while he has provided 12 assists. 20 of those goals came in the Championship last season.
Brighton enquired about Summerville last month. Summerville was named Championship Player of the Season last year as he frequently impressed despite Leeds missing out on promotion.
Meanwhile, Lopetegui is attempting to implement his playing style on West Ham’s stars in the United States after replacing David Moyes as head coach following the end of last season.
The former Wolves head coach previously stated during West Ham’s pre-season schedule: ‘We are here to work, so we are trying to translate our way. We are trying to put our way and the kind of football we have.
‘We have been without a few players because of the Euro and Copa America, so step by step we have more players and it’s a key time and we want to have the whole group as soon as possible to start working for that.’
Mail Sport understands that talks with Borussia Dortmund over Niclas Fullkrug are progressing with a deal understood to be close.
He too is said to be on track for a medical and he too could be set to join the squad in the US.
