At least two Premier League clubs have enquired about signing Mason Greenwood, according to a new report, with Man United expected to sell the outcast striker this summer.
Greenwood, 22, has spent the season on loan at Getafe, and whilst the LaLiga club want to keep him for another year, it looks likely that the Red Devils will prioritise a sale.
His form in Spain, scoring 10 goals in 31 games, has attracted interest from across the continent.
The Telegraph report that at least two Premier League clubs have made enquiries about Greenwood, while Spanish clubs Barcelona and Atletico Madrid have also been linked to his signature.
Juventus and Lazio are Italian clubs rumoured to be pursuing Greenwood, whilst German clubs are also thought to be looking into his services.

United are reportedly seeking £40-£45m for Greenwood, a similar fee to that which Chelsea paid to buy Cole Palmer at the end of the summer transfer window last year.
It would be considered pure profit for Man United, according to the PSR rules, and would be a financial boost for the club this summer, especially after Erik ten Hag’s side failed to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
They could also fail to qualify for Europe entirely, currently sitting in eighth place in the Premier League, and potentially relying on a victory in the FA Cup final to ensure a place in a UEFA competition next term.
Getafe president Angel Torres claimed that he has spoken to Barcelona’s president Joan Laporta and sporting director Deco about Greenwood.
He also stated that Man United have made their decision regarding the forward’s future.
Greenwood has not played for Man United since January 2022, after he was arrested and later charged in October 2022 with attempted rape, controlling behaviour and assault. The case against him was dropped in February 2023 after key witnesses withdrew. Greenwood denied the allegations.
United received backlash following speculation that Greenwood could re-join the squad following an internal investigation. Their leadership team concluded that releasing the player from his contract was not an option, but would instead seek a future for him away from Old Trafford – starting with the loan to Getafe.
Greenwood’s Manchester United contract will expire in June 2025, with the potential of a 12-month extension, and there has been much talk over his next move.

Co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe implied the door was left open for Greenwood’s possible return
Minority co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe previously explained that a decision has not been made on Greenwood’s future as yet, but had implied that the door had been left open for a possible return.
The forward’s £75,000-a-week wages are part of the reason why it is believed to be unlikely that he will return for a second season at Getafe, who currently sit 10th in LaLiga with three games remaining.
