Leicester City want Chelsea striker David Fofana and have also asked about Liverpool’s Fabio Carvalho.

The Foxes are leading the race to sign the Blues outcast, who is coming off the back of loan spells with Burnley and Union Berlin.

Fofana joined Chelsea for £10.2m in January 2023 but has made just four appearances for the club since then.

He is expected to head out on loan again with an obligation-to-buy clause a possibility.

Fofana did little to impress during his two loan spells last season, scoring six goals across a season which ended in relegation with the Clarets.

The Portuguese is also coming off the back of consecutive loan spells in the previous campaign.

He spent the first half of last season with RB Leipzig before joining Hull City for the second half.

The 21-year-old has three years remaining on his contract at Anfield but clearly wants more first team football.
