A LaLiga youngster is in an induced coma after he suffered head injuries in a domestic accident.
The player is said to have hurt himself after falling to the ground after a dizzy spell in Palau-solita i Plegamans, Barcelona.
Medics at a hospital in Barcelona described his situation as ‘uncertain’.
The 20-year-old’s team-mates were told about the situation on Thursday, with an update expected on Friday.
The player’s club issued a statement in which they showed their support for him.

Felix Garreta is on loan at Spanish second division side SD Amorebieta from Real Betis.
Amorebieta issued a statement which read: ‘SD Amorebieta informs that the footballer Felix Garreta recently suffered a traumatic brain injury as a result of a fall at home.
‘The player on loan from Real Betis is currently in hospital, with a reserved prognosis and pending evolution.
‘We are in constant contact with the player’s family and his club.’
Betis released a statement showing support to Garreta, which read: ‘All our support and affection from this club and its supporters for Felix and his family. We are all with you.’

Garreta has played 33 times for Amorebieta in all competitions while on loan this season
Garreta joined Real Betis’ academy in 2020 and has made two senior appearances for the club, including one in LaLiga.
This season the centre-back has played 33 times for Amorebieta in all competitions.
He had been tipped to be part of the Spain Under-23 squad at this summer’s Olympic games.
Amorebieta had considered requesting a suspension of their game at home to Villarreal B on Sunday, but the fixture is set to go ahead.
