Spain midfielder Dani Olmo appeared to aim a dig at their Euro 2024 final opponents England ahead of the clash at the Olympiastadion.
The RB Leipzig star has been one of the shining lights for La Roja in this tournament and currently leads the Golden Boot race with three goals and two assists.
Players from both sides took to the pitch ahead of kick-off and the 26-year-old was spotted drinking from a tea cup, though his motion indicated the container may have been empty.
That led to some, including former England international and ITV pundit Ian Wright, to speculate that the gesture was an elaborate dig at the Three Lions.
ITV presenter Mark Pougatch questioned: ‘Not entirely sure what he’s doing there!?’

Former England international and ITV pundit Ian Wright believes the midfielder was attempting to taunt England

‘I think he’s taking the micky out of us.’ Wright replied, with Pougatch agreeing with his conclusion.
Olmo’s startling performances in Germany have seen him linked with a move away from the Bundesliga side this summer.
According to The Sun, his £55million release clause is set to expire on Monday, but that deadline has been extended due to Spain’s run to the final of Euro 2024.
Olmo has been with RB Leipzig since 2020, joining from Dinamo Zagreb and since going onto score 29 goals in 148 appearances for the Bundesliga side.
Prior to his move to Zagreb, he had featured for both Espanyol and Barcelona in his native Spain.
But it is the Premier League that are interested in his services now, with it reported that both United and Liverpool could look to trigger his release clause in the coming days.
Bayern Munich and former side Barca are also said to be keeping tabs on the midfielder.
