Fulham agreed a £12.7m fee with £4m in add-ons for Lyon midfielder Rayan Cherki on Wednesday night but the 21-year-old is unsure on the move.
Cherki, who made his debut for Lyon when he was just 16, has made 141 appearances for the French side, during which he has scored 17 goals an provided 25 assists.
Fulham have long-standing interest in Cherki having discussed a deal during the January transfer window.
Cherki was part of the France squad that finished runners-up to Spain at the Olympics.
A player who was extremely highly rated when he was younger, Cherki has been capped by France at Under-21 level.

Fulham have already made one statement signing in this transfer window, bringing in Emile Smith Rowe from Arsenal for £27million.
Marco Silva’s side have also signed defender Jorge Cuenca, while Ryan Sessegnon has rejoined the club.
The Cottagers are also poised to sign Joachim Andersen from Crystal Palace for £30million including add-ons.
