Manchester United have reportedly expressed an interest in signing one of Spain’s Euro 2024 winners.

Erik ten Hag’s side have already been heavily active in the transfer market so far this summer.

United’s first major deal saw them bring in forward Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna for £36.5million.

That was followed by the arrival of Leny Yoro, with the 18-year-old signing from Lille for £52million.

Ten Hag is now seeking to make further additions to his squad.

25-year-old Zubimendi, who has ten caps for Spain, has spent his entire career at Real Sociedad so far.

The defensive midfielder has made 188 appearances for Sociedad. Arsenal have also been linked with a move for Zubimendi.

United have reportedly agreed personal terms with Manuel Ugarte, but Paris Saint-Germain are not willing to sell the Uruguayan midfielder for less than £59million.
