Lecce supervisor Roberto D’Aversa headbutted Hellas Verona striker Thomas Henry following the game as tensions boiled above next the clash amongst the Serie A relegation rivals.
Verona gained 1-, with Michael Folorunsho scoring the only aim in the 17th minute.
D’Aversa confronted Henry just after the match, with both of those men being revealed purple playing cards.
Henry experienced previously been given a yellow card for clashing with Marin Pongracic and was included in other incidents with opponents.
D’Aversa apologised for his actions but said that Henry was to blame for rising tensions.

Speaking to Sky Sport Italia, D’Aversa reported: ‘There was presently provocation in the closing minutes of the match and I did not want my lads to get suspended.
‘It was not a very good gesture, but my intention was to divide them, as the provocation continued even after the match had finished.’
D’Aversa additional that he didn’t go onto the pitch with the intention of headbutting Henry.
He reported: ‘I did not go onto the pitch to headbutt any person, I went to salute (Verona mentor Marco) Baroni and desired to stay clear of my players finding suspended. Then Henry arrived in direction of me, but my intention was not to go to Henry.
‘Gendrey was there, Pongracic much too. I repeat, it was an ugly detail to see, but it totally was not premeditated. I apologise for the gesture, but my intention was to individual the players, as the past 7 or eight minutes was just continual provocation.’
