Plus live updates from Bournemouth and Luton Town’s Premier League clash.

HALF-TIME: Borussia Dortmund 1-0 PSV (Agg 2-1)

Jadon Sancho’s goal is the difference at the break in Dortmund.

HALF-TIME: Atletico Madrid 1-1 Inter Milan (Agg 1-2)

Just as Inter could smell the quarter-finals, Atletico dragged themselves back into the tie.

Hopefully more of the same in the second half.

Borussia Dortmund 1-0 PSV (Agg 2-1)

Mail Sport’s Nathan Salt in Dortmund:

The fact Dortmund haven’t yet built on their lead is leaving a few guys in front of the press box a bit jittery. I don’t blame them.

They’ve been the better team but PSV are only a goal down in this tie and they are starting to find a foothold on the brink of the break.

GOAL: Bournemouth 1-3 Luton (Solanke)

While those goals were going in over in Madrid, Bournemouth have set about cutting into that Luton lead in the early stages of the second half.

Dominic Solanke has pulled one back.

Atletico Madrid 1-1 Inter Milan (Agg 1-2)

The goal has done Atletico the world of good. Inter were better off at 0-0 you feel.

Atletico have poured forward since Griezmann’s goal.

Savic has headed a free kick back across the face of the Inter box and a run from Griezmann into the box is blocked by Pavard at the last second.

GOAL: Atletico Madrid 1-1 Inter Milan (Agg 1-2)

Goodness me. Antoine Griezmann reignites Atleti’s hopes moments after falling behind.

Koke’s pass takes a couple of deflections and falls to the Griezmann and he slots in the net.

Inter are appealing for offside against Morata but it is cleared by VAR.

Atleti back in it immediately.

GOAL: Atletico Madrid 0-1 Inter Milan (Agg 0-2) (Dimarco)

Atletico Madrid’s task gets a whole lot harder!

A superb move from Inter Milan as Simone Inzaghi’s side open up the hosts.

The ends with Nicolo Barella squaring the ball from the left and Federico Dimarco does the rest.

Dimarco takes a touch and firest past Jan Oblak.

Atletico Madrid 0-0 Inter Milan (Agg 0-1)

Morata is denied by Yann Sommer.

The veteran goalkeeper gets down low to keep out Morata’s header from Marcos Llorente’s cross.

Atleti keep coming and Lino cuts in from the left to send a curling effort with of the target.

Feel like there’s goals in this.

HALF-TIME: Bournemouth 0-3 Luton

A dream half-time for Luton, who are look like they will end the night out of the Premier League bottom three.

‘PSV are like rabbits in headlights’

Mail Sport’s Nathan Salt in Dortmund:

PSV are like rabbits in headlights here.

Granted I can barely hear myself think so it myst be that x10 on the pitch.

But Peter Bosz’s side look completely and utterly lost.

A crucial double save from Walter Benitez has just about kept the lid on things.

Atletico Madrid 0-0 Inter Milan (Agg 0-1)

Alvaro Morata slides one cross the face of the Inter Milan goal, but there is nobody there to convert at the back post.

Lautro Martinez then tries his luck from distance and is the comfortable stop for Jan Oblak in the Atletico goal.

GOAL: Bournemouth 0-3 Luton (Barkley)

What a night this is turning out to be for Luton…

Ross Barkley blasts Luton into a 3-0 lead on the stroke of half-time.

Barkley fires through Neto at his near post and Luton look to be heading out of the bottom three.

Borussia Dortmund 1-0 PSV (Agg 2-1)

How are Dortmund not 2-0 up on the night!

Donyell Malen cannot believe he hasn’t scored. He follows up after Julian Brandt’s shot is palmed clear.

Malen hits it first time from point blank range but it’s kept out by the PSV goalkeeper Benitez with his outstretched leg.

Not sure he knew a thing about that save to be honest. Could be vital though!

Atletico Madrid 0-0 Inter Milan (Agg 0-1)

The first big opening of the night in Madrid goes the way of the visitors.

Atletico have made the running early on but Inter spring forward on the break.

Wing back Denzel Dumfries powers forward into space and tests Jan Oblak from a tight angle.

Oblak pushes away the initial shot and the Inter Milan follow-up.

Ref feeling the wrath of the Yellow Wall

Mail Sport’s Nathan Salt in Dortmund:

That’s twice now this ref has got in the way of a Dortmund attack.

If he wants to avoid the wrath of these ultras in the yellow wall, fix up Orsato…

Atletico Madrid 0-0 Inter Milan (Agg 0-1)

Diego Simeone is already urging his team forward on the touchline.

Atletico Madrid hurl a long throw into the Inter Milan box and there are appeals for a penalty.

The appeals are waved away.

GOAL: Bournemouth 0-2 Luton (Ogbene)

Luton have doubled their lead in the Premier League on the half hour mark.

The Hatters had been coming under pressure but have struck again!

Taith Chong has gone from goalscorer to provider, teeing up Chiedozie Ogbene to turn into the Bournemouth net.

GOAL: Borussia Dortmund 1-0 PSV (Agg 2-1) (Sancho)

The dream start for Dortmund as Jadon Sancho puts the hosts ahead.

Sancho is on the edge of the PSV box and drills a low shot into the bottom left corner.

He wheels away in celebration and his troubles in Manchester become all the more distant.

Borussia Dortmund 0-0 PSV (Agg 1-1)

Lightning fast start for Dortmund with the first chance falling to Donyell Malen.

A kind deflection takes the ball into his path and his left foot shot clears the crossbar.

KICK OFF: Atletico Madrid 0-0 Inter Milan (Agg 0-1)

And we are also underway in Madrid.

We are good to go in Dortmund.

SALT: ‘An unrivalled atmosphere’

Mail Sport’s Nathan Salt in Dortmund:

Goosebumps just now listening to the Yellow Wall belt out You’ll Never Walk Alone.

This atmosphere is totally unrivalled for anywhere I’ve ever been in my career. Just wow.

Anthem time

The flags are out in both Madrid and Dortmund and the supporters are in full voice.

Out come the players and it is time for the Champions League anthem.

Kick off is just minutes away.

Atletico look to their formidable home record

Atletico Madrid must win on the night to stand a chance of reaching the last eight following the 1-0 first leg defeat.

Diego Simeone’s side, however, have been superb in front of their own fans.

Atletico are unbeaten in their last 25 league matches at home. This season their record stands at 13 wins and one draw in La Liga.

The hosts will be looking to carry that form over into the Champions League knock-out stage.

Alvaro Morata and Antoine Griezmann have scored 20 and 18 goals respectively this season. They have firepower to turn the tie around.

The Yellow Wall in full voice

The atmosphere has been building for quite some time in Dortmund.

Their famous Yellow Wall was packed a good 40 minutes before kick-off to show their support.

Only 15 minutes to go until kick-off against PSV.

GOAL: Bournemouth 0-1 Luton (Chong)

Massive goal at the bottom of the Premier League!

Tahith Chong has put the Hatters ahead at the Vitality Stadium.

Chong ghosts in completely unmarked at the back post to head in Jordan Clark’s cross.

Where was the Bournemouth defence? Luton won’t care.

Decent hospitality in Dortmund

KICK OFF: Bournemouth 0-0 Luton

We are underway in the Premier League.

A crunch match for Luton down at the bottom of the table.

Tom Lockyer was given a special entrance ahead of kick-off.

He was joined by the medics who helped save his life and tonight’s fourth official Simon Hooper.

Hooper was the referee for the abandoned match back in December.

It’s lively in Madrid!

A dream Champions League away trip?

Some cracking photos from Nathan Salt on the ground in Dortmund.

One of the best away trips in the Champions League?

PSV will certainly hope it is…

And of course, Germany will be hosting the Euros in the summer as well.

Borussia Dortmund vs PSV team news: Sancho starts but Reus remains on the bench

Mail Sport’s Nathan Salt is in Dortmund this evening and already picking apart UEFA’s predicted line-up graphic.

Man United exile Jadon Sancho starts for Dortmund for the first time in the Champions League since 2020.

Marco Reus is on the bench for the hosts, which reportedly is a source of disquiet among the locals.

Veerman has passed a fitness test to start for PSV, while Bakayoko starts in attack, with Lozano dropping to the bench.

Dortmund: Kobel; Süle, Can, Hummels, Maatsen; Özcan, Sabitzer; Malen, Brandt, Sancho; Füllkrug

PSV: Benitez, Dest, Boscagli, Schouten, Teze, Veerman, Mauro Junior, Til, Tillman, De Jong, Bakayoko.

Atletico Madrid vs Inter Milan team news: Griezmann and Morata fit to start

The team news from Madrid.

There is good news for Atletico Madrid with Antoine Griezmann and Alvaro Morata both fit to start.

Griezmann has not played since the first leg after an ankle injury.

Marcus Thuram, who limped off in San Siro, leads the line for Inter as expected.

The man who replaced him and scored, Marko Arnautovic is injured.

Borussia Dortmund and PSV all square after the first leg

Dortmund defender Mats Hummels was less than impressed after the first leg of their last-16 tie with PSV.

Hummels took to social media to blast the decision to award PSV a penalty, converted by Luuk de Jong, which leaves the tie level at 1-1.

‘Twitter waits for it. Twitter gets it. What a joke of a penalty against us. Again. I cannot believe there can be decisions like today or against Chelsea or PSG with the VAR,’ Hummels wrote.

Will Dortmund have enough in front of their home fans tonight?

Inter Milan eye another Champions League run…

Inter Milan reached last year’s Champions League final and pushed Man City all the way in Istanbul.

Simone Inzaghi’s side will be hoping to go one step further this season and with the benefit of a 16 point lead in Serie A they can afford to focus their attentions on Europe.

Inter hold a 1-0 lead from the first leg against Atletico Madrid, with veteran Marko Arnautovic goal off the bench proving the difference at the San Siro.

Edwards hails ‘special bond’ between Luton and Bournemouth supporters

Several notable activities from Bournemouth and Luton Supporters’ Trusts around tonight’s fixture, with the match chosen to raise awareness around cardiac health.

The Cherries Trust and Talking Cherries have raised more than £2,000 for Luton’s supporter coaches to bring fans to attend the game.

At half-time both Supporters’ Trusts will make a presentation and donation to the British Heart Foundation. A one minute applause has also been planned in the 59th minute – the same time Lockyer collapsed in December’s fixture.

Luton boss Rob Edwards has said the two clubs have a ‘special bond’ following December’s events.

Locks is okay, he hasn’t been involved but he is coming to the game which is great. He has bigger things on his mind with his new arrival and that’s his main focus right now.
Going forward we would love to have him here on a regular basis but with the new arrival he is rightfully looking after his family.”
When it happened it was really raw, the two clubs will have a special bond, it shows a lot of class that their supporters trust is helping pay for our fans to get to the game so thank you to them,” continued Edwards.
It will be emotional going back but we have to do it, it’s important for Locks to see all the fans and the people who helped him, everyone was amazing on the day. Our full focus is on the game and we have a job to do on Wednesday night.

Bournemouth choose Lockyer as programme cover star

There can’t be many times an opposition player has been the cover star on the home team’s programme.

Tom Lockyer has been given that honour tonight by Bournemouth.

A lovely touch from the Cherries.

BOURNEMOUTH AND LUTON TEAM NEWS

While tonight will clearly be an emotional match it could also be a crucial one in Luton’s bid for survival.

The Hatters could move out of the bottom three on goal difference should they win tonight. Bouremouth can go level on points with Fulham in 12th with victory.

Alex Scott, Dango Ouattara and Luis Sinisterra come into the starting line-up for the hosts, with Marcus Tavernier, Justin Kluivert and Milos Kerkez making way.

Just the one change for Luton as Daiki Hashioka starts in place of Gabriel Osho.

This match is a 7.30pm kick-off.

Bournemouth: Neto, Smith, Mepham, Zabarnyi, Ouattara, Scott, Cook, Christie, Semento, Solanke, Sinisterra

Luton: Kaminski; Burke, Mengi, Kabore, Hashioka, Clark, Barkley, Doughty, Ogbene, Chong, Morris

Luton and Tom Lockyer make an emotional return to Bournemouth

Tonight’s Premier League match is the rearranged fixture between Bournemouth and Luton, which was abandoned in December following Tom Lockyer’s collapse.

The Luton Town captain suffered a cardiac arrest in the 59th minute of the fixture and later revealed he was technically dead for two minutes and 40 seconds before his heart was restarted by paramedics.

Lockyer has since been fitted with an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) device, which will shock his heart back into action should it ever stop again.

The Premier League ruled that the match would be replayed in full. The fixture was abandoned with the scores level at 1-1.

Lockyer is in attendance tonight and has already met up with the medical team who helped saved his life. He will also be presented to the crowd at half-time.

Good evening!

By the end of this evening the Champions League quarter-finalists will be known, with four teams battling out for the final two places.

Arsenal dramatically booked their place in the last eight last night with a penalty shoot-out win over Porto, while Barcelona beat Napoli to advance.

Holders Manchester City, Real Madrid, PSG and Bayern Munich sealed their spots last week.

Runaway Serie A leaders Inter Milan have a 1-0 first leg advantage to protect as they travel to Spain to face Atletico Madrid.

Borussia Dortmund and PSV are locked at 1-1 in their last-16 tie with the Dutch side facing the Yellow Wall tonight.

There is also Premier League action tonight as Bournemouth host Luton on an emotional occasion at the Vitality Stadium. More on that shortly.

Stay with us throughout the evening for all the latest from the Champions League and updates from tonight’s Premier League clash.
