Sky Sports F1 pundit Karun Chandhok created a spectacular escape from his auto at the Goodwood Revival Pageant right after it burst into flames.
Footage from the competition has demonstrated the previous Formula A single driver driving his car or truck in advance of it sets on hearth.
He then manages to navigate himself on to the grass before leaping out of the motor vehicle to preserve himself.
The incident was captured on movie, with his brother Suhail submitting to Instagram to focus on what occurred.
‘Scary minute for @karunchandhok minutes ago @goodwoodrevivla in the legendary GTO,’ he wrote.

‘Most importantly just seriously glad he’s ok but I have to say that preserve, motor vehicle management and existence of head to promptly get it off circuit and on to the grass was Extraordinary.
‘We believed we were being done with stress filled moments as a family members of a racing driver but guess that is the mother nature of the beast.’
Karun later broke his silence just after his impressive escape, revealing what went incorrect as he confirmed how his boot experienced been melted in the hearth.
He explained: ‘Lucky to get absent with that with nothing at all a lot more than a melted boot.
‘Something went bang and seized up the back wheels and despatched me spinning.
‘Such a disgrace to conclude a race in my aspiration GT motor vehicle like that but satisfied to get out ok!’
The Goodwood Revival Pageant is running this weekend as it is shown as an ‘immersive celebration of iconic cars and fashion’.
They will be hoping that there is no further drama after Chandhok’s scenario on Saturday.
