Mr Tyley (pictured) said: 'It was a funny situation, we took part every year in a district sports competition, which was essentially athletics, the children took part in about 10 or 12 different activities and Lucy got maximum marks in every event.'

He included that Ella was ‘really, truly sporty’ through her time at superior college, introducing: ‘She took on any problem that the PE department threw at her seriously. She was a born winner. she preferred to get at everything. She’s quite aggressive.

‘She was the only female in the [school’s football] squad but it failed to matter, she preferred to participate in soccer, she was undoubtedly great enough to participate in football with the boys, she was better than quite a handful of of them truly and she did genuinely very well.’

He reported the boys on the staff ‘accepted her wholeheartedly’ since ‘they understood she could perform football, 1st and foremost, and her actions spoke louder than her terms.’

The mentor spelled out that Ella is ‘very grounded and extremely relatives orientated’, before predicting that the match would end result in a 1- acquire for England.
