Fernando Alonso criticised the FIA for missing typical feeling immediately after he was stripped of 3rd put times immediately after the podium celebrations — and then reinstated at 1am regional time in Jeddah.
The Aston Martin veteran was farcically bumped down to fourth, with Mercedes’ George Russell briefly promoted.

If George was genuinely third in the race he should have enjoyed the podium and not me, so I really feel sorry for George, Mercedes sponsors and George fans.’ Russell was gracious ample to say: ‘The penalty was severe on Fernando.’
Pink Bull’s race winner Sergio Perez explained: ‘We will retain pushing, and maintain pushing really hard. We have bought the swiftest car, and I am very happy about that. I savored the race a lot, especially at the end.’
